Meknes security arrests seller of forged certificates

Meknes police, in coordination with the National Territorial Surveillance Directorate, arrested a 25-year-old man on Monday, July 20, suspected of forging official documents and academic certificates for sale. The operation was initiated after intelligence services detected advertisements on social media platforms offering fake official documents and academic diplomas for illegal use.

Through continuous investigation and research, authorities identified and apprehended the suspect. A search of the suspect's premises uncovered a cache of forged academic certificates and diplomas. Additionally, a list of names and sums of money, believed to be the proceeds of these criminal acts, were seized.

The suspect has been placed under judicial investigation, supervised by the competent public prosecutor's office. The investigation aims to uncover all circumstances and details of the case. Authorities are continuing their efforts to identify and arrest any other individuals involved in this criminal enterprise.
