Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has initiated a significant reshuffling of ministerial roles among Social Democrat members of the current SVM government. Frederiksen announced that all Social Democrat ministers will be assigned new tasks, emphasizing that none will retain their previous positions. This decision comes as the Social Democrats have fewer ministerial posts compared to previous administrations.

The most notable changes involve Peter Hummelgaard, who is appointed the new Minister of Finance, and Nicolai Wammen, who will now serve as the Minister of Justice. This strategic move sees the two prominent Social Democrat figures swapping key government portfolios.

Frederiksen made the announcement outside Amalienborg Palace, where the new government lineup was presented. The reshuffling aims to redistribute responsibilities and potentially inject new dynamics into the government's operations, ensuring all Social Democrat ministers are engaged in fresh assignments.
