Mexican Foundations Partner to Boost Women's Economic Independence

The María Teresa Ealy Díaz Foundation, a human rights organization for women, and Kooltivo, an education specialist, have joined forces to advance women's economic independence. This alliance formalizes their commitment to developing projects that foster women's economic autonomy, well-being, and overall development.

The agreement, signed by María Teresa Ealy Díaz for the foundation and Norberto Maldonado and Sara Epstein for Kooltivo, aims to create "real and measurable" changes in women's lives. Key components of the strategy include programs in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment, equipping women with the knowledge and skills to increase their income.

Furthermore, the partnership will offer training in technology, innovation, human rights, and gender perspective. The foundation will also provide emotional support to vulnerable women. Ealy Díaz emphasized that the goal is to create tangible opportunities and tools, stating, "We want alliances that become opportunities, tools, and results for women. Accompanying also means opening paths so that each woman can regain her autonomy, strengthen her capabilities, and build her own future."

She added, "A woman with tools, knowledge, and autonomy has greater possibilities to decide about her life. That is why we want to accompany her, but also strengthen her so that she never has to choose between her safety and her economic independence."
