Mexican National Team Players Enjoy Free Time Away From Training Camp

Players from the Mexican national soccer team took a break from their training camp at the Centro de Alto Rendimiento (CAR) on Saturday afternoon. Following their training session, the squad was granted several hours of personal time away from the facility.

Players, along with team management and coaching staff, departed the CAR. They are expected to return by 8:00 PM for a scheduled group dinner. Some players left individually, while others were accompanied by family members. Assistant coach Rafael Márquez was seen leaving with Duilio Davino, the sporting director for men's national teams.

Notable players spotted leaving the camp included Jorge Sánchez, Israel Reyes, Edson Álvarez, Erik Lira, and Guillermo Ochoa. The team's preparation is underway for the 2026 World Cup, with spirits reportedly high after their opening victory against South Africa. During the brief period of training accessible to media, a positive atmosphere was observed among the players.
