Mexico City's 'House of 400 Years' hosts paranormal investigation tour

The Mexican Agency for Paranormal Investigation (AMIP) is inviting the public to step into the shoes of paranormal investigators with its upcoming 'Tour Insólito,' or Unusual Tour. This unique experience will unfold within the eerie confines of a centuries-old mansion in Mexico City's historic center, a location reportedly teeming with supernatural activity.

The event, titled 'La Noche de los Médiums' (The Night of the Mediums), will guide participants through the 'Casa de los 400 Años' (House of 400 Years). According to Antonio Zamudio, founder and director of AMIP, this colonial-era building, constructed around the same time as the Metropolitan Cathedral, is said to be haunted by the spirits of Franciscan and Dominican monks who once resided there.

AMIP claims to have captured evidence of spectral presences, including shadows, unexplained noises, and apparitions of human figures within the house. Zamudio specifically mentioned reports of a child's spirit appearing on the second floor. The tour emphasizes an investigative approach, encouraging participants to actively seek evidence of spirits through field research rather than passively observing.

During the tour, attendees will explore the mansion's corridors, rooms, and courtyards, equipped to conduct audio recordings, take photographs, and film videos. They will also have the opportunity to participate in Ouija sessions. The investigation will be overseen by Fernando Flores, described as a prominent mentalist and psychic, and a student of Uri Geller. The evening concludes with a snack dinner where participants can share their findings. The 'La Noche de los Médiums' tour is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, starting at 8:00 p.m., with tickets priced at $1,350 pesos per person.
