Mexico: SEP Report Cards for 2025-2026 School Year Available July 14-15

As the 2025-2026 school year concludes in Mexico, students are on the cusp of summer vacation. Before the break, parents and guardians must attend to a final administrative task: accessing and downloading the official report cards.

The Secretariat of Public Education (SEP) has finalized the recording of final evaluations for the third trimester. Consequently, report cards will be distributed on July 14 and 15, 2026, according to the official academic calendar. These dates also mark the end of academic activities for the 2025-2026 school year, signaling the start of the vacation period for countless basic education students nationwide.

Families preferring a digital approach can obtain the report cards through the SEP's official online system. This platform allows for viewing and printing the academic results without the need to visit the school in person. To access the document, individuals must navigate to the SIGED portal, select the student section, and enter the student's CURP (Unique Population Registry Code). The system will then display the relevant academic information, which can be saved as a PDF or printed.

Some states also offer the option to retrieve report cards via local educational portals, provided the necessary information is available. Key details required include the student's CURP, which is essential for locating their school record. In certain state platforms, the school's "Clave del Centro de Trabajo" (CCT) may also be requested to identify the institution where the student is enrolled.

Following the summer recess, students in preschool, primary, and secondary schools will return to classes on August 31, 2026. This date has been set by the SEP as the commencement of the 2026-2027 academic year for institutions within the National Education System.
