Miaoli expands 'Ask Stations' to 55 locations, offers prize draws

Miaoli County's "Jie Wen Zhan" (Ask Station) initiative, designed to provide tourist information and services, has expanded to 55 locations throughout the county's 18 townships. The latest addition, "Tudou Kang," is situated in Zaoqiao Township and focuses on low-temperature roasted nuts, representing a blend of traditional local business and new innovation.

These stations, established in collaboration with local friendly businesses, offer more than just travel advice. They provide essential conveniences for tourists, such as free charging for electronic devices, Wi-Fi access, restroom facilities, and drinking water. The program, supported by the Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Transportation, aims to serve as a welcoming hub for travelers navigating the area.

To encourage engagement with the expanded network, the Miaoli County Government's Cultural and Tourism Bureau has launched a new promotional campaign. Tourists visiting Miaoli are invited to experience the diverse services offered by the "Jie Wen Zhan" network. By taking photos, checking in at a station, and completing an online survey via QR code before August 23, visitors can enter a lucky draw.

The grand prize in the draw is a piece of luggage, with other limited-edition small gifts also available. Additionally, tourists who obtain a "Jie Wen Zhan" map brochure from partner businesses during the event period will receive a commemorative postcard.
