Miaoli job fairs to offer nearly 3,000 positions, including at TSMC

Job seekers in Miaoli, Taiwan, have a significant opportunity to find employment as the local employment center hosts two large-scale job fairs in July. The events, scheduled for July 9 and July 18, will collectively feature 46 companies offering close to 3,000 job openings.

The first job fair, on July 9, will take place at the Zhunan Science Park Administration Service Center. This event is specifically geared towards the booming AI and semiconductor industries. Participating companies include industry giants such as TSMC, Micron Technology, and ASE Technology Holding, along with others in critical fields like wafer manufacturing, AI servers, high-speed networking, memory, and semiconductor equipment. Notably, TSMC and ASE Technology Holding are each offering over 300 positions, highlighting the high demand in the sector.

The second job fair, scheduled for July 18 at the Yuanli Civic Hall, will focus on employment opportunities within southern Miaoli. This event will bring together 16 companies from diverse sectors, including chemicals, food processing, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, food and beverage services, security, and engineering. Well-known service industry employers like PX Mart, Sukiya/HAMA Sushi, and McDonald's will also be present, with McDonald's alone offering 80 positions and Wan An Security providing 100 job openings.
