The Michigan Chronicle, the state's oldest Black newspaper, has endorsed Rep. Haley Stevens for the US Senate ahead of Tuesday's Democratic primary. The endorsement, a lengthy 1,200-word editorial, highlighted Stevens' qualifications, including her role as chief of staff on Obama's auto task force and her work on the Chips and Science Act. The Center for Effective Lawmaking recognized her as Michigan's most effective Democratic representative in the 118th Congress.
