A 27-year-old man from Michigan has become an instant millionaire after winning $2 million from a scratch-off lottery ticket. The lucky winner, who hails from Mackinac County, has a consistent habit of purchasing a scratch-off ticket during every road trip he takes.

During his most recent road trip with friends to Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, he followed his usual routine and bought a "Two Million Dollar Cashword" ticket. He decided to scratch it off in the car, a common practice for him whether traveling with family or friends.

Initially, he believed he had only matched nine words, which would have entitled him to the second prize of $10,000. However, after a few minutes of re-checking, he discovered he had actually formed ten words, securing the top prize of $2 million (approximately NT$63.15 million).
