Mido Launches New 28mm Multifort TV Watch, Offers Couple's Sets for Qixi Festival

Swiss watchmaker Mido is expanding its popular Multifort TV collection with a new 28mm model, specifically designed to cater to those with slimmer wrists. This latest addition draws inspiration from the distinctive television sets of the 1970s, featuring the collection's signature case shape that is round within a square.

The new 28x27.6mm timepiece boasts a stainless steel case treated with rose gold PVD coating, offering a warm, luxurious sheen that complements its cocoa-colored lacquered dial. The dial is further enhanced with diamond hour markers at the 12, 3, and 9 o'clock positions, while the remaining markers are also faceted for a sparkling effect. The watch is presented on an integrated bracelet, which combines polished and satin-brushed finishes for a dynamic play of light and texture, making it both a functional timepiece and a stylish accessory.

In anticipation of the upcoming Qixi Festival, often referred to as Chinese Valentine's Day, Mido is also highlighting its Multifort TV watches as a perfect choice for couples. The collection offers various sizes, including a bold 40mm model with a rubber strap for a casual look and a 35mm version featuring a gradient brown-to-black dial adorned with eight diamond hour markers. These models, paired with PVD rose gold bracelets, are presented in warm, sweet color palettes inspired by honey gold and chocolate brown, symbolizing the warmth and sweetness of love.
