Midtjylland's coach, Mike Tullberg, expressed his unease about the injury, stating, "We don't know Victor Bak's condition clearly yet, but the visuals are not good. We will conduct a detailed evaluation upon our return." He further elaborated on the team's current struggles with player availability, mentioning the sale of Aral Şimşir and existing injuries to Mikel Gogorza and Junior Brumado, with Lee Han-beom also unavailable for the recent game. "We are experiencing serious injuries so early in the season," Tullberg noted, adding, "Victor's situation also doesn't look very promising.
