Su started the game and pitched three scoreless innings, striking out an impressive seven batters. This outing set a new personal best for strikeouts in a single game during his Class A career. His dominant pitching display helped lower his earned run average to 5.93.

Su's journey to professional baseball includes a standout performance at the U18 World Cup last year, where he recorded 14 strikeouts in 7.1 innings with a 1.91 ERA. His talent caught the eye of the Padres, who signed him for a $775,000 bonus, making him the fourth Taiwanese player to join the organization.
