Military arsenal, Nazi symbols seized from 89-year-old man's home in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires police uncovered a significant military arsenal and items bearing Nazi symbolism in the home of an 89-year-old man in the Flores neighborhood. The discovery occurred after neighbors alerted authorities when the man experienced a medical emergency and was taken to the hospital.

Upon entering the residence, officers found a substantial collection of military-grade weapons, including rifles and machine guns, alongside numerous handguns, revolvers, and a heavy machine gun with a tripod. The seizure also included 22 items related to explosives, artillery projectiles, and hand grenades. In addition to the weapons, investigators confiscated helmets, bladed weapons, and accessories adorned with Nazi symbols.

The Federal Criminal and Correctional Court No. 5 has ordered a thorough inventory and verification of all seized items to determine their registration status with the National Agency for Controlled Materials (Anmac). This investigation follows a similar incident in Gerli, where police found an arsenal and Nazi insignia in another man's home. That case was linked to an online advertisement selling military uniforms, including those used during World War II.
