In a tribute released Friday, Chuck extended condolences to Forte's family and the legal community, emphasizing that Jamaica has lost a jurist whose decades of service profoundly influenced its legal landscape. Justice Forte's illustrious career, exceeding thirty years, included a respected tenure as director of public prosecutions. His integrity and sound judgment in this role bolstered public trust in the criminal justice system and set a professional benchmark for legal practitioners. His subsequent appointment to the judiciary, including service as president of the Court of Appeal, marked a continuation of his exceptional public service.
