Ministry Announced: Payments Deposited into Accounts

The Ministry of Family and Social Services has announced significant updates to its child support payments, a key initiative aimed at encouraging childbirth and supporting families in Turkey. As part of the 2025 Family Year, the government is adjusting the financial aid to better meet the needs of families with newborns.

Minister Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş highlighted that the updated payments, effective January 1, 2025, include a substantial one-time grant for the first child and ongoing monthly support for subsequent children. We have deposited the May child support payments into the accounts of mothers as of today, to contribute to meeting the families' needs before the Kurban Bayram holiday.

The ministry also reported that over 1 million children have benefited from these aid programs to date. The timely disbursement of May payments before the Kurban Bayram holiday demonstrates a focus on providing immediate financial relief to families. Applications for these benefits are streamlined through e-Devlet and a dedicated mobile app, ensuring accessibility for citizens.
