Ministry of Agriculture Begins Mass Inspections of Fruit and Vegetable Imports

Bulgaria's Ministry of Agriculture has launched a comprehensive inspection campaign targeting imported fruits and vegetables at its national borders. The initiative aims to enhance oversight and ensure the quality and safety of produce entering the country.

Significant inspection efforts are underway at the borders with Turkey and North Macedonia. To further bolster control, additional inspection teams have been strategically positioned at the borders with Greece and Romania. This coordinated approach reflects the ministry's commitment to rigorous monitoring of agricultural imports.
