Minor arrested after video surfaces of assault on peer in Susedgrad

Zagrebačka policija (Zagreb police) has arrested a minor in connection with an assault on another minor that occurred on Bolnička Street in Susedgrad. The incident, which took place around 9:45 PM last Thursday, was brought to the attention of authorities through the e-opažaj application, which included a video of the assault.

Police promptly launched an investigation, analyzing the provided video footage and gathering information from potential witnesses. This swift action led to the identification and apprehension of the suspect, confirming the assault occurred in the Susedgrad area. The investigation also confirmed that the victim sustained minor injuries and received treatment at the Children's Hospital Zagreb.

The arrested minor has been charged with violent behavior and bodily harm. Following the investigation, the suspect was handed over to a detention supervisor, and a special report was submitted to the Municipal Public Prosecutor's Office for Youth in Zagreb. The police emphasized their commitment to thoroughly investigating such incidents to ensure accountability and safety among young people.
