Miss Nepal 2026 Opens Applications with 'Top of the World' Theme and New Format

The Miss Nepal pageant, a cornerstone of Nepali culture and aspiration, has officially opened applications for its 2026 edition under the inspiring theme 'Top of the World.' This theme beautifully encapsulates Nepal's majestic mountainous landscape and the soaring ambitions of its contestants, who dream of reaching new heights.

This year marks a significant evolution for the pageant, with Hidden Treasure, the organizing body, implementing substantial structural changes. These include a revamped judges' panel and a heightened emphasis on preparing contestants comprehensively for the global stage. Director Pramod Kansakar highlighted the integration of international pageant adaptations to ensure Nepali representatives are well-equipped for international competitions. Notably, the traditional question-and-answer round for the top 13 has been replaced by a series of engaging challenges such as sports, head-to-head, and multimedia competitions, designed to foster contestants' holistic development.

Expanding its reach, Miss Nepal 2026 will conduct regional auditions across seven cities: Birtamod, Butwal, Itahari, Janakpur, Nepalgunj, Pokhara, and Kathmandu. This inclusive approach ensures broader participation and allows talent from various regions to showcase their potential. The grand finale is set for August 1, 2026, promising a spectacular display of talent, beauty, and grace. The pageant continues to be a powerful platform for young Nepali women to shine and represent their nation with pride.
