Miss Nguyen Thu Thao to represent Vietnam at The Miss Globe 2026 in Thailand

Miss Nguyen Thu Thao, crowned Miss & Mister Tourism Vietnam 2026, will represent Vietnam at The Miss Globe 2026 pageant. The international competition is hosted by the Miss Grand International Organization, led by Nawat Itsaragrisil, and will be held in Phuket, Thailand, from October 24 to November 7, 2026. This marks the first time the pageant takes place in Thailand, under the theme "Beauty of Unity."

Thao, born in 2005 and hailing from Tuyen Quang, stands at 1.8 meters tall with measurements of 89-65-92. She is currently a student at the National Economics University. She aims to promote Vietnamese culture and showcase the image of a young, confident, and resilient Vietnamese woman on the international stage.

Vietnam has a history of success at The Miss Globe, with Do Tran Khanh Ngan winning in 2017. Lam Thu Hong was crowned 4th runner-up in 2022, and Do Ha Trang secured the same title in 2024. Thao is expected to continue this legacy.

The decision to have Miss Grand International host The Miss Globe has garnered attention, following Nawat's organization of the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand, which received mixed reviews. Meanwhile, the Philippines has a strong track record at The Miss Globe, with two wins in 2015 and 2021, and multiple runner-up placements.
