The post shared by Modi, originally written by Piyush Padmakar, a close associate of Nabin, emphasized the latter's simplicity, humility, and frugal lifestyle as a student, even when his father was a legislator. Padmakar described Nabin as a peacemaker among his friends, highlighting his disciplined and sociable nature.

This public display of support follows Nabin's strong criticism of opposition leaders, including Kejriwal, Rahul Gandhi, and Akhilesh Yadav. Nabin accused them of politicizing alleged irregularities in donation collections for the Ayodhya Ram Temple and of not respecting Hindu sentiments. He challenged their stance, stating they should not consider Hindus weak and should not remain silent when "their people insult Hindu deities."
