Modrić and Džeko invest in a business near Dubrovnik worth 920 million euros; here's how it will look

Football legends Luka Modrić and Edin Džeko are investing in a significant tourism project near Dubrovnik, Croatia, valued at approximately 920 million euros. The development, known as Tri Sestrice, is poised to become one of the largest and most luxurious resorts on the Adriatic coast.

Recent attention has focused on the project after Edin Džeko, captain of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, visited the site with investor Vicenac Blagaić. The location, situated about twenty kilometers from Neum and near Dubrovnik, is set for a complete transformation in the coming years.

Modrić, captain of the Croatian national team, has already purchased a parcel within the future resort, located about ten kilometers from Ston. His investment is seen as a catalyst for the project, which aims to redefine luxury tourism on the Adriatic. Bagers are already on site, access roads are being paved, and the ambitious plan is beginning to take tangible shape.

According to land registry data, Modrić acquired a 1527-square-meter plot, registered as forest, from Blagaić's company, Profectus Eco. This move follows a visit to the location last year with his friend and fellow footballer Mateo Kovačić. The Tri Sestrice project promises to bring a new era of high-end tourism to the region.
