Monaco bombing suspect subject to Interpol red notice, arrest warrant issued

Monaco authorities have issued an arrest warrant and an Interpol red notice for a suspect believed to have orchestrated a parcel bomb explosion that injured three people in the wealthy principality. The attack, which occurred Monday evening, targeted a Ukrainian-born oligarch.

The main suspect is reportedly a woman who fled on foot to France, which shares a border with Monaco. French media indicated the suspect was not in Monaco or neighboring France. Authorities plan to release further details on Friday.

The explosion occurred at the entrance to the home of the targeted tycoon, identified as Jewish and an active member of the Dnipro Jewish community. The oligarch, his wife, and their 13-year-old son were hospitalized. Reports indicate the wife sustained severe injuries, requiring double amputation, while the tycoon suffered burns and shrapnel wounds. The son also sustained burns and bruises.
