Mongolia's Defense Minister visits Kyrgyzstan for official talks

Mongolia's Defense Minister, Bat-Erdene Damba, arrived in Kyrgyzstan on June 25 for an official visit, as announced by the Ministry of Defense. The delegation, led by Minister Damba, was welcomed at Manas International Airport by Talantbek Talipov, commander of the Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan.

The primary objective of the visit is to foster and strengthen military cooperation between the two nations. Minister Damba is scheduled to hold a meeting with his Kyrgyz counterpart, Ruslan Mukambetov, to discuss avenues for enhanced collaboration in defense.

The itinerary for the Mongolian delegation includes a series of planned activities aimed at deepening bilateral ties. These activities encompass visits to various military units and installations within Kyrgyzstan, providing the delegation with insights into the operational capabilities and structure of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces.

In addition to military engagements, the visit also features cultural exchanges and a tour of the "Ata-Beyit" national historical-memorial complex. This component of the trip underscores a broader effort to enhance mutual understanding and historical connection between Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia.
