Monsoon continues across Nepal, heavy rain possible in four provinces

Hills across the country are likely to experience moderate rainfall with thunderstorms. Specific forecasts mention moderate rain with thunder and lightning in parts of the Terai regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and in some areas of Madhesh and Koshi provinces.

Authorities have issued warnings for heavy rainfall in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces. Residents in areas prone to heavy rain are urged to remain alert for potential debris flows, floods, landslides, and soil erosion. The weather conditions could also impact daily life, agriculture, tourism, mountaineering, and transportation.
