Mooloo Farm's sunflower festival helps palliative care patients

Regenerative beef farmers Noel and Debbie Greenshaw are opening Mooloo Farm in Queensland's Mary Valley for their second annual sunflower festival this Saturday. The event aims to foster community connection and support palliative care patients.

The festival highlights the Greenshaws' innovative farming methods. They grow sunflowers alongside mixed pasture species, which enriches the soil and reduces their reliance on expensive fertilizers and agricultural chemicals. This regenerative approach also involves daily cattle movement to fresh paddocks and providing access to natural supplements like biochar and garlic, leading to healthier meat and reduced costs.
