Morena registers 22 aspirants for state leadership posts in Chihuahua, Colima, and Guerrero

Morena's National Executive Committee announced that 22 individuals registered as aspirants for state leadership positions in Chihuahua, Colima, and Guerrero on the second day of the party's nomination process.

The registrations are part of the selection for Coordinations for the Defense of the National Transformation and Sovereignty, ahead of the 2027 elections. For Chihuahua, the registered aspirants include Andrea Chávez Treviño, Cruz Pérez Cuéllar, and Luis Carlos Arrieta Lavenant. In Colima, Rosa María Bayardo Cabrera, Gricelda Valencia de la Mora, and Joel Padilla Peña put their names forward.

Guerrero saw a larger group of aspirants register, including Rogelio Ortega Martínez, Iván Hernández Díaz, José Ojeda Jiménez, Karen Castrejón Trujillo, Genaro Vázquez Flores, Zeferino Gómez Valdovinos, and Pablo Amílcar Sandoval Ballesteros. Other notable registrations included Esthela Damián Peralta, Marcial Rodríguez Saldaña, Aidé Ibarez Castro, Abelina López Rodríguez, Victoriano Wences Real, Beatriz Mojica Morga, Alberto López Rosas, Rubén Cayetano, and María Guadalupe Eguiluz Bautista.

The party highlighted that the registration process unfolded in an atmosphere of unity, transparency, and openness. Morena confirmed that online registrations would continue in the coming days for those who wish to submit their candidacies.
