Morena seeks to distract from Cablebús Line 5 doubts, says PAN deputy

Morena is attempting to divert attention from persistent questions about the Cablebús Line 5 project by falsely accusing the PAN of orchestrating resident-led legal challenges, according to local PAN deputy Lizzette Salgado.

Salgado asserted that Morena "returns to the formula of conspiracy: accuses, points, and seeks to discredit, but does not present a single piece of evidence." She emphasized that fundamental questions regarding the project remain unanswered while Morena resorts to baseless accusations.

But if they don't have it, they should stop inventing conspiracies and start answering the questions that the neighbors are asking," Salgado stated. She highlighted that citizens have raised concerns for months about the project's technical information, soil mechanics studies, risks associated with the Santa Lucía station, mitigation strategies, and resident participation mechanisms.

Salgado recalled presenting several proposals to the local Congress seeking information and the appearance of the Secretaries of Works and Mobility. She wants them to provide verifiable documentation explaining the Line 5 project, its mitigation strategies, soil studies, and plans for potential risks. The deputy insists that Morena should address these substantive issues rather than fabricating accusations.
