Moria Casán recalls explosive confrontation with daughter Sofía Gala on live TV

Argentine media personality Moria Casán publicly confronted her daughter, Sofía Gala, during a 2013 television appearance, an incident recently highlighted by the Netflix series "Moria."

The heated exchange occurred on the C5N program "Malas Muchachas," which Casán co-hosted with Any Ventura, Carmen Barbieri, and Cecilia Milone. The conflict erupted when Gala arrived late for a recording and was unresponsive to her mother's calls. Casán, who also had a theater performance scheduled for that day, expressed fury over the delay and the lack of communication.

"You're still here waiting for me, you shameless person! Shameless, audacious! Leave, leave, let her go, let her go. I don't want her here. Either she does it or I do it," Casán told her daughter in front of the crew and co-hosts. Gala attempted to de-escalate the situation by suggesting they continue with the program, but Casán rejected this.

"I'm not going to put up with this act from this girl. I don't want to do it with her. It's an act because what she did is a disgrace and embarrassing. Don't do the program, leave. On top of that, I have to put up with this. Get her out, get her out, I don't want to do it with this girl. Let her go. If she does it, I won't, so the production here should decide," Casán declared.

Following the televised argument, Casán explained her anger, stating that the situation had been building for days. "With children, everything is amplified. This situation had been brewing since Saturday because I hadn't heard from her. On Sunday, I warned her that she had to be here at a specific time because we had a recording, and afterward, I had to get to my theater performance," she recounted. Casán also mentioned trying to contact Gala for several hours without success.
