Moria Casán's grandchildren, Dante and Helena, star in Netflix biopic

The Netflix biopic "Moria" has brought renewed public attention to the life of Argentine showwoman Moria Casán, including her grandchildren, Dante and Helena. Both grandchildren not only have actors portraying them but also appear directly in the series.

Helena Tuñón, 17, daughter of Sofía Gala and Diego Tuñón, made a notable acting debut. She portrays her own grandmother during her teenage years in episodes six and eight. While previously focused on film direction, her striking resemblance to Moria and her acting presence surprised viewers.

Dante Della Paolera, 11, son of Sofía and Julián Della Paolera, appears as himself in the final chapter. He is shown during preparations for the diva's grand birthday celebration. Both grandchildren have grown up surrounded by art but have largely stayed out of the public eye. However, the series has revealed a natural inclination towards performance that may shape their future.

Dante's ease in the spotlight was evident at the recent Martín Fierro Awards 2026. Moria Casán, nominated for her show "La Mañana con Moria," walked the red carpet with her grandson. She introduced him as "the man accompanying me." The eight-episode series, directed by Javier Van de Couter, premiered on August 14, two days before Moria's 80th birthday, tracing over 50 years of her career.
