Moria Casán's life story to be told in new Netflix series starring three actresses

Argentine entertainment legend Moria Casán is stepping into the spotlight once again with a new Netflix series chronicling her extraordinary life. To capture her journey across different eras, three prominent actresses, Sofía Gala Castiglione, Griselda Siciliani, and Cecilia Roth, will embody Casán at various stages of her life. The series promises more than just a portrait of a star; it aims to tell the story of a woman who made transgression her way of life and serves as a tribute to Argentine popular culture.

Set to premiere on August 14, the series, created and directed by Javier Van de Couter and produced by About Entertainment, will reconstruct Casán's multifaceted career spanning theater, film, and television. Beyond her professional achievements, the production will also highlight the significant individuals who left their mark on her personal and public life.

The cast includes Micaela Riera and Leticia Brédice, who will portray Susana Giménez, a fellow icon and close friend of Casán. Riera will depict Giménez in the 1980s, a time when both shared the stage in the vibrant world of revista theater. Brédice will take on the role in the 1990s, portraying Giménez as the "diva of the telephones" and Casán's confidante.

Riera expressed her deep emotion and gratitude for the role on social media, calling it an "honor" and a "dream." Other key figures from Casán's life will also be brought to the screen. Javier Pedersoli will play theater producer and friend Carlos Rottemberg, while Giuliano Pianetti will portray Fito Páez during his appearance on Casán's show "A la cama con Moria." María Fernanda Callejón is set to become Zeta, Casán's lifelong friend, and Eloy Rossen will embody Galo, her steadfast right-hand man.
