Moroccan Center for Cinema Announces 2026 Production Support Results

The Moroccan Center for Cinema has revealed the recipients of its second round of film production support for 2026. The committee allocated pre-production advances for several feature film projects, with "HORS ZONE," "أصحاب" (Ashab), and "المعلم" (The Teacher) receiving the highest amounts of 3.5 million and 3.7 million dirhams, respectively.

Further pre-production support was granted to "فين غادي بيا" (Where Are You Taking Me?), "نور" (Noor), and "طعم السراب" (The Mirage Bait), each receiving 2.8 million dirhams. The committee also provided funding for several short film projects, including "ENEMY GROUND," "ظلمات ثلاث" (Three Darknesses), "الثغرة" (The Gap), and "الطفل المحظوظ" (The Lucky Child), with amounts of 150,000 dirhams each.

Post-production advances were awarded to the short film "الحرقة" (The Burn) for 70,000 dirhams. Additionally, support for scriptwriting and rewriting was distributed among projects like "أطفال من صوف" (Children of Wool), "الجنة تحت أقدام الأمهات" (Paradise Under Mothers' Feet), and "اسمي زينب" (My Name Is Zainab).

In the realm of documentaries focusing on culture, history, and the Sahrawi Hassani region, pre-production advances were granted to "سحابة" (Cloud), "صهيل الوادي" (Valley's Neigh), "نبض الحياة" (Pulse of Life), and "بياض طريق" (White Road). Post-production support was also given to the documentary "ألف قصيدة" (A Thousand Poems).
