Moroccan El Jebari signs two-year deal with Cordoba

Spanish second-division club Cordoba has announced the signing of Moroccan international Salim El Jebari on a two-year contract. The 22-year-old forward arrives from Atletico Madrid, where he was developed in their youth academy and made his senior debut in La Liga at the age of 19.

El Jebari spent his formative years with Atletico Madrid, progressing through their ranks. He made his first-team debut during the 2023-2024 season. Subsequently, he played for the reserve team, scoring four goals in 32 matches in the third division. He also had loan spells, including a stint with FC Cartagena in the latter half of the 2024-2025 season, and last season played for CD Mirandes, where he appeared in 35 games and scored one goal in the second division.

Cordoba views El Jebari's acquisition as a key move to bolster their attacking capabilities for the upcoming season. The club is particularly counting on his speed, technical prowess, and significant potential for growth.

The Andalusian club highlighted El Jebari's background as a graduate of Atletico Madrid's training center and recognized him as one of the club's promising young talents.
