Morocco Holds Nationwide Event for Retiring Educators and Trainers

In Morocco, we deeply value the contributions of our educators and trainers, recognizing their lifelong dedication to shaping the nation's future. The Mohammed VI Foundation for the Promotion of Social Works in Education and Training proudly hosted its 11th annual reception and information day, a vital event designed to support our esteemed colleagues as they embark on their well-deserved retirement.

This initiative, held across various regions of the Kingdom, is a testament to our commitment to 'proximity policy,' ensuring that our members feel connected and supported throughout their professional journey. In partnership with the Moroccan Pension Fund and the National Mutual Aid for National Education, we provide a comprehensive platform for retiring members to prepare their transition, understand their benefits, and access essential social services.

This year, we anticipate over 6,000 educators and trainers will retire, joining the ranks of the more than 27% who have already transitioned by the end of 2025. Our foundation, serving over 560,000 individuals, remains dedicated to its ten-year work plan (2018-2028), prioritizing the needs of both active and retired members. We continuously strive to expand and improve our services, ensuring optimal support for the educational community throughout Morocco.

From a Moroccan perspective, this event is more than just an administrative process; it's a recognition of service and a commitment to ensuring a dignified and comfortable retirement for those who have dedicated their careers to educating our youth. It reflects our societal value placed on experience and the importance of supporting our citizens through every stage of life. This proactive approach ensures that our educators can look forward to their retirement with confidence and security.
