A blast at a Moscow cafe on Saturday evening resulted in at least three fatalities and left fifteen individuals injured, according to the Russian capital's police. The incident occurred near a summer cafe, and authorities are currently investigating its cause. Emergency services, including numerous fire trucks and ambulances, were dispatched to the scene.

Russian Telegram channels, such as Baza which has ties to law enforcement, suggested the explosion may have originated from a gas leak in the cafe's kitchens. Investigators and forensic technicians are examining the site to determine the precise circumstances of the blast.

Based on the information we have, an explosion occurred today around 8:10 p.m. (7:10 p.m. in Switzerland) near a summer cafe, causing three deaths and fifteen injuries of varying severity.

In separate developments concerning the ongoing conflict, analysis of Ukrainian air force reports indicates Russia fired a record number of missiles at Ukraine in July. The total reached 376, more than double the number used in June. These strikes predominantly targeted the capital, Kyiv, which Moscow had vowed to hit systematically following deadly Ukrainian attacks within Russia and occupied territories.

The intensity of Russian attacks escalated in July, with a particularly deadly strike on the night of July 2 causing at least 30 deaths. Kyiv experienced further missile attacks on Friday night and Saturday morning, resulting in at least nine fatalities. Despite the increased missile usage, Russia deployed 4,956 attack drones in July, a 14% decrease from June.
