Motorcycle crash injures five on Turkish highway

An accident occurred on the Samsun-Ordu highway in Turkey's Çarşamba district, where a motorcycle rear-ended a light commercial vehicle, leaving five people injured.

The collision took place in the Dörtyol area of the highway. The motorcycle, driven by G.B. with A.K. as a passenger, was traveling in the same direction as the light commercial vehicle, driven by A.K. and carrying passengers L.K. and H.K., when it struck the rear of the vehicle.

Emergency services were dispatched to the scene following the incident. A total of five individuals were injured: the driver and two passengers from the light commercial vehicle, and the driver and passenger from the motorcycle. Two of the injured sustained severe injuries, while the other three had less serious wounds.

All five injured individuals were transported by ambulance to Çarşamba State Hospital to receive medical attention. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident.
