Motorcycle World Championship: Sachsenring race attracts stars from sport and politics

Saxony's Minister-President Michael Kretschmer has taken on the patronage for this year's event and will present the MotoGP trophy to the winner on Sunday. Athletes also making an appearance include Maximilian Arnold, a Bundesliga player with VfL Wolfsburg, who hails from the nearby town of Riesa. Additionally, RB Leipzig's rising goalkeeper Maarten Vandevoordt and his teammate Conrad Harder are expected to visit the world of motorsport.
