Mourinho’s Real Madrid succumb to the frenzy at La Cartuja

Real Madrid endured a chaotic night at La Cartuja, where a late goal from Parrott gave Betis a 1-0 victory and left José Mourinho’s side empty-handed once again in Seville.

Parrott finally broke the deadlock in the 80th minute. Madrid appeared to respond through Espí, who scored shortly after coming on, but the goal was ruled out for offside. Mbappé then missed a penalty in the 95th minute, completing a particularly difficult night for the French forward.
