MTN Pulse Nigeria, PMI Take Future-ready Skills to Nigerian Campuses

MTN Nigeria is bringing its "Live it 100 on Campus" roadshow to seven universities, aiming to connect students with emerging career opportunities and equip them with essential skills for the future. The initiative recognizes that as artificial intelligence, automation, and digital transformation reshape industries, employers increasingly value practical skills such as problem-solving, adaptability, collaboration, and leadership over academic credentials alone.

The roadshow, which began at Delta State University in June, will visit Ekiti State University, Ahmadu Bello University, Abia State University, Lagos State University, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, and the University of Calabar. This flagship youth engagement platform is designed to immerse students in technology, entertainment, innovation, and empowerment, tailored to their passions and aspirations.

In a significant collaboration, MTN Nigeria has partnered with the Project Management Institute (PMI), a global authority on project success. This partnership aims to help students understand the critical skills, mindsets, and career pathways in an increasingly project-driven economy. The initiative is expected to engage over 20,000 students, marking one of PMI's most substantial youth engagement efforts in Nigeria.

Through career empowerment sessions, PMI will focus on entrepreneurship, innovation, digital transformation, and project leadership. These sessions will connect students with project professionals and highlight how project management principles are fundamental to careers across diverse fields, including technology, engineering, business, entertainment, the creative economy, and public service. As AI becomes more integrated into all industries, PMI emphasizes the need for professionals who can combine digital fluency with leadership and responsible AI implementation.
