MTN Rwanda upgrades network with VoLTE for better call quality and digital access

MTN Rwanda is undertaking a significant network upgrade, incorporating Voice over LTE (VoLTE) technology to enhance the mobile experience for its customers. Company officials state that this technological advancement is designed to significantly improve call quality and bolster digital connectivity across the country.

The introduction of VoLTE allows voice calls to be made over the 4G LTE network, offering clearer audio and faster call setup times compared to older technologies. This upgrade is expected to lead to a more seamless and reliable communication experience for MTN Rwanda subscribers.

Beyond immediate customer benefits, MTN Rwanda views this network enhancement as a strategic move to support Rwanda's national digital transformation agenda.
