Multiple Fires Active in Montenegro; All Under Control, Say Authorities

Several fires continue to burn across Montenegro, though officials assert that all are currently under control. The Directorate for Emergency Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported active blazes in multiple municipalities.

In the Herceg Novi municipality, fires are active in Đenovići and Zelenica. The Kotor municipality is dealing with a fire in Dragalj. Ulcinj has an active fire on Briska Gora, while Danilovgrad reports one in Ponikvica. Cetinje is experiencing a fire in Bijele Poljane, Podgorica in Klopot, and Kolašin in Crni Vrh (Velje Duboko).

One fire in Maganik, Kolašin, has prompted the local protection and rescue service to request aerial assistance, specifically asking for the deployment of "air tractors." Authorities are continuously monitoring all fire sites, implementing measures to maintain control, and working to prevent any new ignitions. Special attention is being given to areas where fires are currently active.
