Museveni's Daughter Patience Rwabwogo Consecrated As Bishop

Pastor Patience Kokundeka Museveni Rwabwogo, daughter of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, has been consecrated as an Episcopal Bishop of the Covenant Nations Church. The ceremony, held at Covenant Hill in Maya, celebrated two decades of her ministry, which started as a humble house fellowship.

Bishop Dr. LaDonna Osborn served as the Chief Consecrator, presenting Bishop Patience with her certificate and Bible, assisted by Archbishop Moses Odongo and Bishop Joshua Lwere. This ordination marks a historic moment in Uganda's Christian landscape, as Bishop Patience is the first woman to achieve this episcopal rank in the country.

Twenty years ago, God planted within her heart a vision that began humbly as a small house fellowship. What appeared small in the eyes of men carried within it the seed of a much greater work.

Senior Christian leaders, government officials, family, and friends gathered to witness Bishop Patience assume broader responsibilities. Among the notable attendees were Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and his wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, global leaders of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), who played a role in her spiritual development and participated in the anointing and prayers.

Mrs. Allen Kagina, presenting Bishop Patience on behalf of the elders, highlighted her 20 years of dedicated ministry, service, and leadership. She noted that the vision God planted in Patience's heart had grown from a small fellowship into a thriving church. Kagina emphasized that Patience's ministry extends beyond spiritual teaching to encompass leadership development, professional excellence, entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, and responsible stewardship, with a particular focus on empowering young people.
