Musinsa Kicks to Open Its Fifth Store at Seoul’s Parnas Mall in December, Marking First Gangnam Location

Musinsa Kicks is heading to Gangnam for the first time. The sneaker-focused select shop will open its fifth location at Parnas Mall in Samseong-dong, Seoul, in early December.

The store will occupy the basement level of Parnas Mall, located inside the Grand InterContinental Seoul. The mall connects directly to Samseong Station on Seoul’s Line 2 and sits next to the COEX exhibition center, placing it in one of Gangnam’s busiest commercial areas for office workers, exhibition visitors, and domestic and international tourists.

Musinsa Kicks reflects Musinsa’s roots and identity. The company began in 2001 as a shoe community called “Mujinjang, a place with lots of shoe photos,” before expanding into an online fashion platform and retail business.

Musinsa opened the first Musinsa Kicks store in Hongdae in January, followed by locations in Seongsu in March and Starfield Goyang in August. The company also plans to open its first store outside the Seoul metropolitan area in Jeju in early December. A Musinsa official said the Hongdae and Seongsu locations had operated as flagship stores, while the company was developing different store formats as it expanded its offline presence.
