MWL Condemns Continued Israeli Violations in Gaza Strip

The Muslim World League (MWL) has issued a strong condemnation of continued Israeli actions in the Gaza Strip, denouncing the persistent targeting of civilians, vital facilities, and civilian infrastructure. The Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday that the organization views these acts as unacceptable and contrary to religious values, international law, and humanitarian norms.

In a statement, MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, specifically denounced the Israeli violations occurring in Gaza and across the occupied Palestinian territories. He characterized these actions as undermining all efforts toward peace and violating fundamental principles of humanity and law.

The MWL expressed its full support for a recent statement released by the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Indonesia, Pakistan, Egypt, and Türkiye. This joint statement aims to confront Israeli violations and safeguard the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights.

Al-Issa emphasized the critical need for the international community to uphold its moral and legal obligations. He called for immediate action to halt all Israeli violations within the occupied Palestinian territories, stressing the urgency of the situation.
