MWL Condemns Iran's Continued Attacks on Gulf States, Jordan, and Commercial Vessels

The Muslim World League (MWL) has issued a strong condemnation of Iran's persistent aggression targeting Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Jordan. The league also denounced Iran's actions against commercial vessels, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

In a statement released by its General Secretariat, the MWL characterized these Iranian attacks as clear violations of international law, the UN Charter, the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the fundamental principles of good neighborliness. The league emphasized that such actions disrupt regional harmony and violate established global norms.

Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, reaffirmed his denunciation of these repeated Iranian assaults. He stressed that the attacks contravene all religious values, international laws, and humanitarian norms. Al-Issa further highlighted that the continued aggression poses a significant threat to efforts aimed at restoring security and stability throughout the region. The statement comes in the wake of Iran launching missile and drone attacks on U.S. military facilities in several regional countries, escalating existing tensions.
