Mysterious Woman Suspected in Monaco Bomb Attack on Ukrainian Oligarch

Monaco authorities have issued an arrest warrant and requested an Interpol red notice for a suspect in a bombing that severely injured Ukrainian oligarch Vadim Yermolayev and two other individuals.

The explosion occurred Monday evening in the hallway of a building in Monaco when an unidentified person left a package. Public Prosecutor Stéphane Thibault praised the rapid international police and judicial cooperation that led to the suspect's identification.

French media reports suggest the suspect is a woman who disguised herself as a man, seen on surveillance cameras wearing a black hat. The package was left in the hallway, and the blast happened as the oligarch and two others entered the building.

While authorities have not confirmed the victims' identities, sources indicate Yermolayev, a wealthy businessman of Ukrainian origin with Cypriot citizenship, was the target, along with his partner and son. Yermolayev made his fortune in the construction business in Dnipro and has been under Ukrainian sanctions since December 2023 due to business activities in Crimea.
