Na Young-seok launches new entertainment group for Netflix show after 'New Journey to the West' hiatus

Renowned producer Na Young-seok is launching a new entertainment group for a Netflix variety show, signaling a long-term commitment to the project. He expressed his ambition for the group to lead the entertainment scene for the next ten years.

This move comes after the indefinite suspension of the highly successful variety show 'New Journey to the West,' which Na had helmed for six years. The producer, known for creating hit shows like '1 Night 2 Days' and 'New Journey to the West,' is now focusing his creative energy on this new venture.

The new Netflix series, unveiled at a press conference in Seoul, is titled 'Why the Hell Are We Climbing?'. The cast includes singer Car, the Garden, Day6 member Dowoon, actor Lee Chae-min, and members of the group All Day Project. The production team, including Na and co-producer Park Hyun-yong, are betting on this fresh ensemble to capture audience attention.
