Nantou launches 24-hour online tax service, integrating with 15 other cities

The Nantou County Government Tax Bureau has launched an innovative "e-Touch-to-Start Cross-Domain Tax Service," a collaborative effort with the Taoyuan City Government's Department of Local Taxes. This new service enables citizens to apply for electronic tax certificates online anytime, anywhere, offering a "cross-county, zero-time-difference" convenience.

Currently, the service facilitates applications for five commonly used electronic tax documents. These include certificates for current property tax registrations, as well as proof of payment and tax assessment details for land and property taxes. The system has successfully integrated with 15 other cities and counties across Taiwan, including Taipei, New Taipei, Kaohsiung, and others, significantly boosting cross-regional administrative efficiency.

To use the service, individuals can visit the Nantou County Government Tax Bureau's official website and navigate to the "Online Services" section. After selecting "e-Touch-to-Start," they can authenticate using a personal certificate, mobile personal certificate, or National Health Insurance card. Once logged in, users can apply for multiple tax documents, even across different years, simultaneously. This not only saves citizens the time and effort of visiting a physical tax office but also promotes a greener approach by reducing paper usage.
