Naruto, Dragon Ball, and Attack on Titan arrive at Sala Palatului in a spectacular symphonic show

Iconic anime universes are set to come alive in a spectacular symphonic performance at Sala Palatului in Bucharest on June 16. Anime Symphony, an international project conceived by Japanese conductor Kenichi Shimura, promises an immersive experience blending live orchestral music with multimedia projections of beloved Japanese animation.

The concert will transport audiences through the memorable scores of series such as Naruto, Dragon Ball, Attack on Titan, Sailor Moon, and Princess Mononoke. For many, these anime provided early lessons in courage, friendship, and sacrifice, with their music leaving a lasting impact as powerful as the characters themselves.

The Anime Symphonic Orchestra, specially assembled for this international project and conducted by Shimura, will perform the music live. The program includes scores that have resonated with generations of fans, offering a new depth and power when experienced in a live setting with the full force of an orchestra.

Adding to the experience, sopranos Sumika Kanazawa and Tamara Angelovska, known for their work on international anime music productions, will lend their voices to the performance. Their interpretations are expected to enhance the emotional resonance of the soundtracks, contributing to the concert's cinematic atmosphere.

A significant visual component will accompany the music, with a large screen behind the orchestra displaying footage from famous anime films and series. This synchronization of live music and video aims to create a truly immersive journey, allowing the audience to not only hear but also relive cherished moments from these globally popular productions.
