National Atole Fair 2026 Dates and Location Announced

The National Atole Fair 2026 has announced its dates, set to run from Friday, October 9, to Sunday, October 11. This annual event, dedicated to the traditional Mexican beverage, will be held at the Canosas Baseball Field in the municipality of Coacalco, State of Mexico. Attendees can expect a vibrant celebration of Mexican culinary heritage, featuring a wide array of atole varieties and complementary foods.

Beyond showcasing traditional atole preparations, the fair will host international guests who will integrate their own gastronomic specialties into the recipes. The event will also feature tamales, artisanal bread, and other delicacies. A competition will be held to award the best atole based on aroma, consistency, flavor, and texture, highlighting the quality and diversity of this ancient drink.

Atole, a beverage with pre-Hispanic origins, is a significant symbol in the gastronomy of Mexico and Central American countries.
